In addition to the advantages, the technology has many disadvantages. The traditional work force is reduced, creating a problem of unemployment. There is hardly any business policy to retain the traditional workers and the number of employees has reduced with the advent of new technology.

The introduction of the computer has many benefits, but it has created a huge problem in the job market. Previously, a group of people used to do the work. Now one single computer does the same work. This has reduced the number of employees in the job sector.

Unemployment is a major problem in underdeveloped and developing countries. Unemployment gives rise to poverty that leads to starvation. People who are losing their employment find it difficult to get a new job at the time of retirement. They also find it difficult to cope up with the modern technology and handle the situation. This is major problem related to the advent of technology.

The cell phones and mobiles have connected the world. The new generation is busy with these innovations and they hardly have time to spend with their grandparents of the family. The generation gap is also a major problem that is observed in the society. Man has become impatient and easily loses his patience if he does not get response to a phone call. The mental tenacity of the modern men has reduced and people are losing the peace of their mind day by day.

The rate of change of the technology is also very high. People are not able to grasp the rate and that creates a problem. Technology is changing at a faster rate and many people find it difficult to adjust accordingly. There are many advantages of the modern technology, yet people suffer from the disadvantages and never realize the same. There have been many changes around us due to technology. It has given many valuable gifts to the world. Technology has greeted the modern civilization with the internet and the smart phone. It has played a vital role to develop the human civilization and give shape to human thoughts.

Technology has created a future shock to the modern generation. Many people find it difficult to cope up with the technology. Technology is changing from time to time and it is never static. The induction of new technology often creates problems for the people as they find it very difficult to learn. The rate of change of technology is too high and people often are stuck into it. The new technology comes to them, but they are not well aware of the older one. One simple example is that there are many people, who cannot handle the 3 G phones, yet the concept of 4G of Airtel has been already in the market.

Technology is not restricted to any particular phase. Technology has emerged long back and the change of phase is inevitable. People used to harvest food by means of stone tools in the Nomadic Age (0-1650). The service phase (1960-1975), was the fourth phase. It dealt with the growth and development of the computer. The Information phase (1975-2000), was the fifth phase. It dealt with the intellectual development of the tools of thinking as well as design. The last phase was known as the Semantic phase. This phase mainly focuses on internet, networking as well as social media across the globe.

Business technology deals with all the information related to the business that includes the application of science, data, engineering. The main intention behind this is to achieve economic as well as social goals. Technology has grown up by being influenced by different factors. The interest of the government is one such reason, which boosted the growth of technology. Technology leads to many changes

From the dawn of the civilization, technology has brought many changes in the life of man. Man is a wanting animal and human wants are numerous. “Necessity is the mother of invention”. Man has invented many things due to his necessity. In the olden days men used to move naked and there was no concept of wearing clothes. Men used to stay in the jungles and there was no residential place for staying.

With the pace of time man started to think that there is something known as ‘necessity’ in the life. Man started to realize that there is need of clothes, food and shelter. These are the three main things that came to their mind. They started preparing homes, designed clothes and invented the concept of growing crops. Previously, they used to survive on animal flesh and fruits from the forest. They understood that they must do this and technology has modernized the concept of growing crops, building homes as well as preparing clothes from time to time.

The word ‘Technology’ is not restricted to only machines. Many people think that it means only the introduction of new machines. However, the concept is a wrong one. Technology means a new idea, a new concept, which is a combination of skills, process, techniques, etc. The concept of preparing clay pots is a technology. The discovery of electric bulb was a new technology. Previously, there was no electricity and introduction to electricity was a new technology.

Technology has no area of limitation. It covers physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, etc. Today, the advent of Information Technology is much appealing to the modern generation. It has given a new birth to this new generation. It has contributed a lot in the field of software engineering, mobile applications and much more to do in the coming days.

The main concept of technology has come from men.  Man has a desire of flying, which became his need at one point of time. In order to satisfy his need, he invented the aeroplane to fly in the air. The concept was a new idea at one point of time and man never thought that one day by the dint of technology, there would be a random flight service from one part of the earth to another. Technology has made that possible and today we cannot imagine planning our travel without booking a flight in the holidays. Without technology, our life is beyond the scope of description.
